Our policies for subscription cancellations and refund requests.

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to all platform features through the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be applied after your cancellation date.
For annual subscription plans, you may request cancellation within 14 days of your initial purchase to be eligible for a full refund. After the 14-day window, your subscription will remain active until the end of the annual term, and no refund will be issued.
All Grootin subscriptions (monthly and annual) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Here's how auto-renewal works:

If Grootin offers a free trial period, the following terms apply:
We do not provide refunds for monthly subscription fees. After cancellation, no further charges will be applied starting from the next billing cycle.
Full refunds are available for annual plans if requested within 14 days of the initial purchase date. Beyond this period, no refunds will be granted.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the transaction date without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). To exercise this right, inform us of your decision by sending a clear statement to hello@grootin.in.
Please note: If you have started using the platform's distribution services (e.g., submitted music for distribution) during the 14-day withdrawal period, you acknowledge that the service has begun and you may lose the right to a full refund for services already rendered.
Refunds may be considered outside the standard 14-day window under the following circumstances:
Each exception request is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis.
All subscription fees are displayed and charged in the currency shown at the time of purchase (INR or USD, depending on your region). Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original transaction.
Any differences arising from exchange rate fluctuations between the date of purchase and the date of refund are borne by the user. Grootin is not responsible for any additional fees charged by your bank or payment provider for currency conversion.
If you have a concern about a charge, we strongly encourage you to contact us at hello@grootin.in before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.
Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with Grootin may result in:
We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly. In most cases, we can resolve issues faster than the chargeback process, which can take 60–90 days.

Our support team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and process it within 3–5 business days. Upon approval, funds will be returned to your original payment method within 5–10 additional business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed on our end. If you have not received the refund within 15 business days of the confirmation email, please contact your bank or payment provider first, and then reach out to us if the issue persists.
Please note that if your music has already been distributed to streaming platforms, cancelling your subscription does not automatically remove your releases. Distributed content may continue to be available on streaming platforms. For release takedown requests, please contact our support team separately at hello@grootin.in with the subject line "Takedown Request".
Takedown requests are typically processed within 5–10 business days, but removal from individual streaming platforms may take additional time depending on each platform's processing schedule.
Grootin reserves the right to modify this Refunds & Cancellation Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 15 days before they take effect. The updated policy will also be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
